2. Check-in at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka in Japan
Please come to Japan according to the reservation date.
In order to reduce the burden on patients visiting from a distance, this hospital has implemented an accommodation support service in cooperation with the international hotel "Hotel Nikko Fukuoka". This hotel is located at 2 stations by subway from Fukuoka Airport and a 3-minute walk from JR Hakata Station (directly connected by underpass).
Our hospital is located on the 1st floor underground at Hotel Nikko Fukuoka, so it is possible to reduce troublesome travel time and receive treatment efficiently.
3. First consultation for free
In general, non-dentist staff may provide counseling, but implant treatment require specialized knowledge and experience.
Therefore, at our clinic, the doctors in charge of implant treatment will always give counseling and make appropriate proposals while checking each patient's oral condition.
Free interpreters will be provided to patients who wish to have an explanation in different languages so that they can understand the symptoms and treatment in detail.
Before starting the counseling, patients can have a CT x-ray photo taken, so that we can provide the diagnosis on the same day of the counseling. There is no need to visit more that once to hear your diagnosis.
Interpreters are also available for consultation over the phone.
4. Thorough examination
We conduct detailed examinations by using extremely high-precision equipment, such as high-performance 3D X-ray system.
This system can measure the bone density around the implant, which was difficult to do conventionally. We present treatment plans according to detailed data collected by such medical instruments.
5. Treatment plan
We will formulate a treatment plan based on detailed test data. This is also the responsibility of the implant physician.
In our hospital, we have successfully performed many difficult operations that even other clinics and university hospitals have refused.
If we determine that this operation is impossible, we believe it is not an exaggeration to say that it is impossible to find a dental clinic that can do the treatment in Japan. 6. Primary surgery (implantation)
At out clinic, implant surgery is always performed by implant physicians.
It usually takes only about 30 minutes depending on the case, since they are the specialists with abundant achievements and experiences.
Anesthesia is used for the operation, but it is also possible to treat the patient with intravenous sedation, which is less painful. We recommend the latter to those who are sensitive to pain.
In addition, for patients who have given up on implant treatment due to a small amount of bones, we offer regenerative treatment which could make the procedure possible.
We will give a detailed explanation before and after surgery.
Based on our know-how, we will answer any questions regarding dental concerns and make sure the whole process will be pleasant for each patient.
About cutting-edge technology
7.Healing period / return
After surgery, the healing period is usually 3 to 6 months for the implant to firmly join the jaw bone.
We will explain the precautions in detail from immediately after surgery to daily life.
It is common for people to return to their country during this time, since it will take a while.
8. Another visit to Japan / Second-stage surgery (Abutment / Artificial teeth)
We will check and confirm that the implant and the bone of the jaw have joined, and we will perform the procedure of mounting the abutment (joint between the artificial tooth and the implant) on the implant. This operation usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes.
After some days, when the gums have settled down, we will perform normal casting to create the upper structure (outer crown) and attach it.
9. Regular medical checkups
Even if an ideal treatment was done, if the subsequent maintenance was inadequate, patients may eventually suffer from disease such as periodontitis, or the implant may turn into poor condition.
At our clinic, we have follow up service which offers regular maintenance to avoid such situations.
